How We Work

Our church is served by a staff of employed workers who are governed and aided by the official board, made up of elected representatives of the church. Elders, deacons and deaconesses serve on the board. While we are self-governing in every respect, we cooperate with the state and national levels of our brotherhood and with local religious groups.

Our church is supported by voluntary contributions. Most members use the envelope system which provides for weekly giving of an amount that has been pledged. We make no attempt to say what should be given, except that we encourage it to be in relation to one's income, and be an adequate expression of gratitude for God's blessings.
